Just wanted to chime in on the toolbar.

There is a lot of potential for the second toolbar, but right now you are just treating it as equal to the primary one, and you could do so much more with it.
If you were to change the second toolbar to be a hold shift and do type of bar, it could even be context sensitive to what you have currently equipped. If you are using a magic item, holding shift would show the magic actions you can perform (heal, firebar, etc) and with the simple press of the number key, you could trigger it. For weapons, this would be special attacks, or stances that would change the way your attack works. Tools could have special buffs that help you find minerals/ores, or maybe with a tool belt, you could switch between a few different tools with that second action bar.

I also think you should look at weapons a little differently, and treat the action bar as more of an awesome bar, then strictly an item reference bar. This way you could put a one handed sword and a shield in the same slot, so that right click becomes defend, or two swords, giving you access to some two handed attacks with the right click.

Re-invent the action bar for the genre, do something awesome with it :)
